Hawaii Real Estate
CE Requirements

Hours of CE Classes Required:

20 hrs of CE every 2 yrs (6 core, 14 elective)
CE classes must be completed by November 30th of each even-numbered year (e.g. 2012, 2014, etc.) and license renewed by Dec 31st.

Important: Be sure to rotate between Package #1, #2 and #3 for each renewal period, so you do not repeat the same courses you've taken during the previous renewal period.

Maximum CE hours allowed per day:

Hawaii does not limit the number of CE classes you can take each day.

Quiz Requirements:

To help improve learning, most courses have a short 5 question quiz at the end of each section plus a 10 question final exam to help improve your learning. If you score less than 80% on a quiz, you must retake the quiz before proceeding. There is no limit on the number of times you can re-take a quiz.

After Completing Courses:

At least once per week, Training Cove will submit your classes to the state. A few days later, the state system will be updated and you can view your CE classes by logging into MyPVL using the link provided below. Once logged into your MyPVL account, click on your license number. Scroll down until you see "My Continuing Education (CE)" and click "View CE History." After completing all of your CE classes, your license will NOT get renewed automatically. You still need to login to MyPVL, use the option to renew your license, and pay the required fee.

Note: If you miss the deadline for renewing, your license may be forfeited and DCAA requires you to call them at 808-586-3000 to get a hard copy form to renew a forfeited license.
