CE Requirements

Hours of CE Classes Required:

12 credit hours every 2 years

Salespersons and Brokers:
9 hrs Electives
3 hrs Kansas Required Core

Maximum CE hours allowed per day:

Kansas does not limit the number of CE classes you can take each day.

Quiz Requirements:

Although Kansas does not have any particular requirements for quizzes, Training Cove® provides a short quiz after each section to help you improve your knowledge. You need 75% correct to pass each quiz. If you score less than 75%, you can re-take the quiz an unlimited number of times. For the final exam, Kansas requires you to score 90% or better on an exam with 30 questions. If you score less than 90%, you may retake the exam an unlimited number of times until you pass.

After Completing Courses:

Immediately after finishing a course, you can view or print your Course Completion Certificate directly from the website by clicking on MY CLASSES. Please retain a copy for your records. We upload information to KREC at least once per week. If there is a renewal deadline at the end of the month, we also upload immediately before the deadline.

Advisory:

All CE classes in Kansas expire on Dec 31st of each year, so students must complete courses prior to December 31. Students must also complete the final examination enough days ahead of their renewal to allow grading, issuance of the certificate, and reporting to KREC. Training Cove reports completed classes once per week, so students are advised to complete their classes at least 1 week before renewal.

Cutoff Time on Last Day of Month:

Your classes will not be accessible after 8:00pm CST on the last day of the month so that we can meet Kansas state requirements to submit completed course records. You may then resume working on your courses after 3:00am CST on the following day.
