Missouri Real Estate
CE Requirements

Hours of CE Classes Required:

12 credit hours every 2 years:
9 hrs Electives
3 hrs Missouri Core (Fair Housing is required beginning in 2024-2026 cycle)

Deadline for completing CE classes and renewing your license is on the following dates of even-numbered years:
June 30 - Brokers
Sept 30 - Salespersons

Maximum CE hours allowed per day:

Missouri does not limit the number of CE classes you can take each day.

Quiz Requirements:

Although Missouri does not have any particular requirements for quizzes, Training Cove® provides a short quiz after each section to help you improve your knowledge. You need 75% correct to pass each quiz. If you score less than 75%, you can re-take the quiz an unlimited number of times. For the final exam, Missouri requires you to score 75% or better on an exam with 30 questions. If you score less than 75%, you must take an alternate final exam (with different questions). If you fail the alternate exam, you will then be required to re-take the entire course.

After Completing Courses:

Immediately after finishing a course, you can view or print your Course Completion Certificate directly from the website by clicking on MY CLASSES. If using a paper renewal form, you must send copies of course completion certificates to the Missouri Real Estate Commission (MREC) along with the renewal form. It must be received by MREC before the licensee's expiration date.

If renewing online, you must wait for Training Cove® to upload your course completions to MREC before you can renew. We upload information to MREC at least once per week. During the last week of June and September of renewal years, we will be uploading your course completions to MREC every day (for courses completed during the previous day).
