CE Requirements

Hours of CE Classes Required:

Broker, Broker-Salesperson or Salesperson:
12 hours every 2 years including:
3 hrs Core
2 hrs Ethics
1 hr Fair Housing
6 hrs Electives (can be any category)

CE is due by April 30th every 2 years (odd-numbered years). A $200 late CE fee applies if CE is taken between May 1 and June 30. Licenses must be renewed by June 30.

Maximum CE hours allowed per day:

New Jersey does not limit the number of CE classes you can take each day.

Quiz Requirements:

New Jersey requires that you complete periodic assessments of your progress during a class. Each class provides a 5 question quiz at the end of each section, plus a 25 question final exam. You must score at least 70% to pass a quiz. If you score less than 70%, you can re-take the quiz an unlimited number of times.

After Completing Courses:

Immediately after finishing a course, you can complete an evaluation and then view or print your Course Completion Certificate directly from the website by clicking on MY CLASSES. At least once per week, Training Cove® will report your CE classes completed to the state. You can then view your completed CE classes using the PSI CE Tracking System and renew your license using Online Services.

During the last weeks of April and June of renewal years, we will be uploading your course completions to PSI more frequently (for courses completed during the previous day).
