Michigan Real Estate License Expiration & Renewal Requirements
In Michigan, real estate licenses are valid for a three-year term. Your license expiration date is unique and based on the date your license was originally issued.
To find your exact expiration date, use the Accela license lookup tool provided by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA), or visit CE Marketplace for more information.
To maintain your license, you must complete 18 hours of continuing education (CE) during each three-year cycle. This includes at least 2 hours of legal updates and 1 hour of fair housing training every year.
